Decoding HEIC is heavy work, and it can take a few seconds per photo. That's because it runs on your device — totally normal.
Is it safe to use HEIC to JPG with my files?
Yes. Your files are never uploaded — they're processed only inside your browser. Every page is served with a policy that blocks outgoing connections (Content-Security-Policy connect-src 'none'), and the counter in the bottom-left shows the data sent: 0 bytes.
Is it free? Do I need an account?
